I did these with my Advanced Art 8th graders
I had them come up with a color plan first.
I wanted the colors to have some explanation or order, rhyme or reason.

It is an assignment that would be done after teaching value scales, op art,
contour line, & shape vs. form.

This guide will help you set your paper up for the columns.
Draw light with pencil, then you can go darker or trace with marker.
Practice with value on the scales before adding color.

Choose a color pattern or scheme.
Add value to the edge of each curved line with a white streak running down center between lines.
