TAKE NOTES:
Advanced Art Journal Notes
SHOW YOU KNOW
-show knowledge of cool and warm COLOR variety
- show you can create SHAPE letters (box or bubble)
-list or draw 7 objects used in your design

CRITERIA-

Beginning Art
-NAME SHAPEs (30 Points)
Fill the space with your name in SHAPE (Box or Bubble) letters.
Letters should be an 1/2 to 1 inch thick (1-2 fingers wide).

-COLORING (70 Points)
Choose to use WARM or COOL for your name.
Use markers, crayons, or colored pencils (or all)
Use the opposite for the background
Leave NO WHITE! Use no neutrals
(exception: you can outline with black for EMPHASIS)

Advanced ART
You must use drawings to fill up your words and background.
I will need to see at least SEVEN(7) objects drawn within the design.
Draw things that you are interested in or  that define you.
(your favorite people, animals, foods, cartoons, places, or common objects in your life.)
If you have room left around the drawings, you can fill those up with patterns & designs.
Leave NO WHITE!

SHAPE LETTERS
You will need to FILL IN your name with color.
You cannot fill in a LINE, so....
You must make it a SHAPE!
Here is how I like to teach Shape letters. I call this method
"Trace and Erase".
