DESIGN IDEAS

-----DESIGN IDEAS FROM OTHER RESOURCES-----

Use basic shapes or a radial design...
kippmoartresources (click to see site)

Draw things in a circle and color them according to the wheel...

Mrs. Highsmith's Class (click to enter website)
I like how it is just a collage of drawings and each slice the colors are changed.

Ms. Mack's Art Classroom
Does this look familiar?

@ggbizzle

Complete worksheet using the material you chose.
Draw sketch in top portion of what you want to do.

YOu will practice making tints and shades of all 12 hues with chosen material.
Use black softly along the “shade” scale at bottom.
I used colored pencils...

Go over shade hard with the hue, use the hue hard for middle, and use hue lightly for tint.

I show you here how to make a tint and shade of orange by using pressure to blend with black.

THen you will plan out how you will do your color wheel.
I chose to do bursts of Crystal Gems. You can too...

If you are using COLORED PENCILS,
Finish your tints and shades on your worksheet...

But if you are using watercolors, practice your tints and shades on the final paint paper.
Here I am using WATERCOLOR PENCILS

It is helpful (if using CRAYONS , colored pencils,  or markers)
To arrange your color in order while you work.
