The simplest kind of balance. 
When something is the SAME on BOTH SIDES. 
There is a line of symmetry that "reflects" the design.

CRITERIA-
Must be SYMMETRICAL in all parts (unless using lettering).
All areas filled with symmetrical pattern or color. (no white background). 
Must have a border/frame around design. 
Must follow a theme for the POSTER design:
Location, Band, Song, Class/Subject, Brand, Object theme, Season... 


Start: 
Design one side of paper. Draw light with pencil. Outline. 

Fold with design down. 
Trace using pencil at window or light box. 

Check for missed areas. 

Outline. 





Color symmetrically. 
You can use this idea in future for designs you may need. 
I used it for my wedding invitation.
