Floating Spheres

 In this project, we are using line, shape, value, space, and movement to make the picture appear like it is three dimensional and moving. We will repeat lines to make the picture have movement. We will use  overlapping of line and shape and shade circles to make them appear three dimensional. We will change size of shape to make them appear as thought the descend into the space. 

1. Draw a curvy (but not TOO curvy) line at bottom half of paper. 

Follow the line with more lines like it underneath. 

2. Add 2 circles to the line, making the very bottom of the circles hide behind the "leader line". 

3. Add another curvy line above the previous one, following along underneath it with more lines. 

Make another circle above this that is smaller than the one before .

4. Keep adding more leader and follow the leader lines with circles above getting smaller as they go higher. 
                                          

5. Keep going...      

                                         

6. and going...

until you reach the top of the paper... 

7. Use PENCIL to make a thick line above each leader line. 

Use PENCIL to make a thick ring around each circle. 

8. Blend the pencil inward on the circles and upward from the leader line to make the picture appear to have depth and dimension.
