This project will have a watercolor sky and a pen and ink landscape.
The pen and ink will be used to make the landscape have value, shading, texture, and depth.
Pen and ink tecnniques (hatching, cross hatching, stippling, and scribbling) will be used for the landscape. Pencil and blending stump can be used in addition to the pen.

This idea of black and white landscape and colorful sky has been floating around for a while.
The idea of greyscale against color is beautiful.
Draw a landscape on the bottom half of the paper.
Add depth and space with layers.
Out line with black marker.
Add a variety of pen and ink techniques to the landscape.
Add pencil shading if desired.

WATERCOLOR COLORED PENCILS.
These are applied like regular colored pencils. It is best if applied lightly with some paper showing through. This will be filled in when the water is applied with the brush in the end.
